We’ve designed and tested our Bassinet + Bassinet Stand (when used together) to comply with the latest version of [**ASTM F2194**](https://www.astm.org/f2194-16e01.html), and [**16 CFR Part 1218 Safety Standards for Bassinets and Cradles**](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-16/chapter-II/subchapter-B/part-1218), as well as the [**Baby Safety Alliance guidance for Bassinets and Cradles**](https://babysafetyfoundation.org/en-au/sleep-center)**.**

## Approved for Overnight Sleep

Here’s what you need to know:

*   When used together with the Bassinet Stand, the Bassinet is fully approved for overnight sleep.
*   When using the Bassinet with your Stroller your little one should always be supervised.
*   The Bassinet should only be used when attached to either the Bassinet Stand or Stroller.
*   As for getting your little one comfy, only the included Mockingbird mattress pad and mattress sheet should be used. Never add a pillow, blanket, or another mattress. If you ever need a replacement mattress sheet, just let us know and we can help you purchase that!
*   Similarly, no strings or mobiles should be suspended over the Bassinet, and no toys should be left in the Bassinet when your little one sleeps.
*   Finally, to reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
