Cleaning your Mockingbird Stroller & Accessories is quick and easy — check out our instructions below.

## **The Mockingbird Stroller**

For any of the plastic or aluminum components of the Stroller, feel free to simply use a mild cleaning solution with warm water on a sponge or damp cloth.

## **Stroller Seat & Canopy**

### **Reversible Seasonal Seat Liner (Stroller 3.0)**

The Reversible Seasonal Seat Liner (included with all 3.0 Stroller Seats) is **removable** and **machine-washable** for easy clean-ups.

_Note: This is different from the Infant Seat Insert (and included seat liner), which has its own care instructions below._

* Machine wash in cold water
*   Do not bleach
*   Air dry
* Do not iron or dry clean

### 2025 and earlier (including 1.0/2.0 models)

As for the fabric parts of the Seat, we'd recommend removing the harness straps and seat boards, and then hand washing the seat fabric with a damp cloth. Once clean, you’ll want to allow it to air-dry. The Canopy itself is not machine washable but can be spot-cleaned or you can always purchase a new one **[here](https://hellomockingbird.com/products/extendable-canopy-replacement#36865019314342)**!

For tougher messes, the Seat fabric is machine washable. Just follow the steps below and watch this [**video**](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBt3AHJxP4R/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) to learn how to remove the Stroller Seat’s fabric before washing:

1. Remove the Canopy - unhook the elastic straps, press the Canopy release tabs, and slide the Canopy off of the Seat  (set aside).
2. Remove the 5-Point-Harness - feed the buckles on the back side of the Seat through the slots, by pushing them through sideways, and pulling them out through the front.
3. Unzip the Footrest - unzip the Footrest completely, past the bottom stop, so that both sides of the zipper are completely detached from one another.
4. Unfasten the Velcro - to fully remove the Seat Fabric from the Seat Frame, unfasten the velcro starting from the Footrest, and moving up.
5. Remove the Support Panels from the Fabric - as a final step there are two compartments with Support Panels that help the Seat keep its shape. Unfasten the Velcro of these two compartments and remove these panels. Please note, to access the Upper Panel on the seat back, you will need to pull the 'hood' of the Fabric over the front, and then you'll be able to find the access point for the Upper Panel.
6. From there, you can machine wash the Seat’s fabric in cold water and then be sure to only air dry!

If that doesn’t do the trick, some families have also had success applying enzyme products that target pet accidents and other stain removers before repeating the wash cycle. There are several brands of these types of products on the market and can generally be found in any big box store or pet supply retailer. If you do have any concerns regarding ingredients or potential allergens, we recommend getting in touch with the product's manufacturer for more information.

### **Storage Basket**

The storage basket on your stroller can be cleaned using a mild detergent and a damp cloth. After wiping, allow it to air dry. If necessary, the storage basket is removable for easier cleaning as well. Please do not machine wash or use bleach.

## Stroller Accessories

### **Bassinet & Bassinet Stand**

The OEKO-TEX certified Mattress Sheet from the Bassinet 3.0 (and the mattress sheet from earlier models) and the Basket from the Bassinet Stand can be machine-washed in warm water. Just tumble dry on low or hang dry. Please do not iron, dry clean, or bleach. For the rest of the Bassinet, you'll need to hand wash. The Bassinet lining is not removable. Feel free to simply use a mild cleaning solution with warm water on a sponge or damp cloth. Then just allow them to air-dry thoroughly. The same goes for the Bassinet Stand — a mild cleaning solution, warm water, and a sponge or damp cloth should do the trick.

### **Car Seat Adapter**

All of the components of the Car Seat Adapter can be wiped down using a mild cleaning solution with warm water on a sponge or damp cloth.

### **Infant Seat Insert (and included seat liner)**

_Note: The Infant Seat Insert (and included seat liner) is a different component than the Stroller’s Seasonal Reversible Seat Liner. While some guidance is similar (like avoiding bleach), please follow the care instructions below for the Infant Seat Insert._

For the Seat Liner and Headrest, you can either hand-wash or machine-wash with warm water and tumble dry on low. Please only hand-wash the Wedge. Please do not iron or dry clean any component of the Infant Seat Insert, and please do not use bleach.

### **Riding Board**

If things get messy with the Riding Board, hand-wash with a damp cloth and mild detergent when needed.

### **Cup Holder**

The Cup Holder is top-rack dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning it very easy! Otherwise, you can use a damp cloth and mild soap to wipe it down.

### **Snack Tray**

After snack time, you can clean off the Snack Tray with a damp cloth and add a mild detergent if you need a little extra boost. The Snack Tray is also dishwasher safe for an extra deep clean.

### **Parent Organizer**

For minor spills or messes, the Parent Organizer can be hand-washed with a damp cloth and mild cleaning solution. Please do not machine-wash, use bleach, iron, or dry clean.

### **Rain Cover**

The Rain Cover is made from plastic and can be hand-washed with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning solution.

### **Footmuff & Hand Muff**

To clean the Footmuff and Hand Muff, hand-wash with a damp cloth and a mild detergent and allow to air dry. For bigger messes, machine-wash in warm water (tumble dry on low or hang dry). Please do not use bleach, iron, or dry clean.

### **Mosquito Net**

The Mosquito Net can be machine-washed in warm water (tumble dry on low or hang dry). Please do not use bleach, iron, or dry clean.

## Warranty Coverage & Replacement Parts

Please note that our warranty does not cover damage as a result of improper cleaning, wear and tear, accidents, or disassembling parts of the Stroller for cleaning.

That being said, worst-case scenario, if there is a part of the Stroller that is not salvageable, we do sell replacement pieces. You can learn more about that here: [**Can I get replacement parts for my Mockingbird products****?**](https://help.hellomockingbird.com/en_us/can-i-get-replacement-parts-for-my-mockingbird-products-Bk289rKs_) We can definitely help you with that process.
